Organization

AdvocacyCenter.Biz (ACB) is a non-profit, non-partisan business led public benefit oganization. It is organized under California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for charitable purposes. It is not organized for the private gain of any person.

Governance

A volunteer board of directors, consisting of senior corporate executives, prominent civic leaders, educators and bipartisan political specialists, governs ACB.

Purpose

The goal of ACB is to achieve a greater level of citizen involvement in the democratic process.  In addition to involving the present electorate, ACB reaches out to younger Americans approaching voting age.

Objectives

• ACB provides, free of charge, tools and information to help citizens become more knowledgeable and effective participants in the political process.
• ACB provides, free-of-charge, simple tools local citizens, civic and business organizations, educators and students can use to help them to participate in the legislative process.
• ACB provides to students and first-time voters, free-of-charge, resources that will help them become more knowledgeable of the legislative process.

Pledge

• We will remain impartial, non-partisan and non-political.
• This organization will NOT support, oppose or advocate on behalf of any candidate for office.
• This organization will NOT support, oppose or advocate on behalf on any specific legislation, regulation or initiative.
